be presented to Benjamin Ames Esquire for the ability promptitude & impartiality with which he has presided over the deliberations of this branch of the Legislature the present session - read & unanimously passed.

The Speaker made his acknowledgements to the House in a neat and pathetic address.

[Message from Governor by Secy of State &c]

Message form the Governor, by Mr Nichols, Secretary of State. Mr Speaker, The Governor has directed me to inform the House of Representatives that has approved and signed one hundred and ten acts and sixty seven Resolves, [the titles of which he read] being all that have been presented to him the present session - He has also directed me to inform this House, that he has no further communication to make the present session - and the Secretary of State then withdrew.

[Clerk to notify Senate that all business is passed upon -]

Ordered, that the Clerk communicate by message to the Senate that the House have passed upon the public business before them, and will adjourn without day for therewith. read & passed.
