[Choice of Counsellors and Secretary of State] nine o'clock for the purpose of choosing seven counsellors to advise the Governor in the executive part of the government the current political year, and also for the choice of Secretary of State.
On counting the ballots for Counsellors it appeared that the whole number was one hundred and fifty two, of which seventy seven were necessary to constitute a choice.
Isaac Lane esquire had one hundred & five votes. Mark Harris Esquire had one hundred and two. James McLellan Esquire had one hundred and nine. Joshua Gage esquire had one hundred and twelve. Ebenezer Williams Esquire had one hundred and forty two. James Collins Esquire had one hundred and thirty seven, and Thomas Vose Esquire had one hundred and forty two votes, and they were thereupon declared duly elected Counsellors to advise the Governor in the executive part of the Government the current political year –
On counting the ballots for the choice of Secretary of State, the whole number was one hundred and fifty three, of which seventy seven were necessary to constitute a choice.
Ashur Ware Esquire had one hundred and seven, and was thereupon declared duly chosen to that office.
The business of the Convention being thus completed, the two Houses separated.
[Report of Treasurer] The following letter of the Treasurer of the State to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, to wit.

In compliance with Article 5, part 4th and Section 4th of the Constitution of the State of Maine, and in obedience to the order of the House of Representatives of the fourth instant I have the honor to submit statements of receipts & expenditures of the treasury of Maine for the political year 1820, 1821, to the House in general account current.
