[Jan. 7.] [Petitions committed to Com. on Parishes &c.] The petition of William R. Ware praying for the erection of a new meeting house in Frankfort committed in the House to the joint standing Committee on Incorporation of Parishes and other religious societies, and ministerial and school lands – came up for concurrence – and was read and concurred
The following petitions committed in the House to the same Committee, came up also for concurrence to wit.
Petition of Waterville Lodge, to be incorporated, – " of Master, Wardens etc. of Maine Lodge, to be incorporated, – " of United Lodge to be incorporated, " of Inhabitants of the Town of Farmington to be incorporated as Proprietors of the Center Meeting House in the town of Farmington, " of Thomas Ricker and others for leave to sell lands in Hartford, Oxford county and of the town of Anson for leave to sell lands granted for the use of the Ministry and they were severally read and committed to said Committee, in concurrence with the house.
[Petitions committed to Com. on New Trials.] The following petitions committed in the House to the joint standing committee on New trials, came up for concurrence; to wit the petition of John Heddian for a new trial, " of Timothy White Junr for a new trial, " of Thomas Stimson and Rhoda Blanchard that their marriage may be legalized, " of Tolford Durham – and others for sale of meeting house in Durham and of Selectmen of New Vineyard that certain of their doings may be made valid and they were severally read and committed to said joint standing Committee on New trials, in concurrence with the House.
