[Committee on laws, respecting sale of non. res. lands for taxes.] Ordered that Messrs. Bond and Poor be a committee to consider whether any, and what alterations are necessary in the laws authorizing the sale of non resident lands by Sheriffs for payment of Taxes, with leave to report by bill or otherwise.

[Remonstrance of Canton agt. new county &c.] The Remonstrance of the town of Canton against the petitions for a new county, by the severance of Oxford &c. was read and committed to the joint standing committee on the Incorporation of Towns. Sent down for concurrence, came up concurred.

The Senate adjourned.
