[Petition of O. Perkins] The Petition of Oliver Perkins for a pension from the State committed in the House to the Joint Standing Committee on applications from sick and wounded soldiers, came up for concurrence. Read and committed to said committee in concurrence with the House.

[Petition of Geo. Rogers & others] The Petition of George Rogers and others for the erection of a new county to be composed of towns from Lincoln and Cumberland, committed in the House to Messrs. Hobbs, Starr & O'Brien with such as the Senate should join, came up for concurrence. Read and concurred and Messrs. Seaver and Witham were joined.

[Pet. of Inhab. of Pittston] Mr. Bond from the Committee on New trials to whom was committed the petition of the Inhabitants of Pittston reported a reference of the same to the joint standing Committee on State Lands. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence, came up concurred.

[Petition of Select. of Putnam & Report - Notice] Mr. Bond from the same Committee reported that the Selectmen of Putnam cause a copy of their petition and order thereon to be published in the Eastern Argus three weeks successively, the last publication to be thirty days before the first session of the next Legislature, to the end persons interested may appear and shew[show] cause, if any they have, why the prayer of said petition should not be granted, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence, came up concurred –

[Petitions and leave to withdraw] Mr. Bond from the same Committee also reported that the following petitioners have leave to withdraw their petitions, to wit – Petition of Thomas Stinson and Rhoda his wife that their marriage might be legalized " of Samuel A. Whitney and others respecting persons authorized to solemnize marriages – and " of Eli Ayer and others that their marriage may be valid –
