[1822 Jan. 16] Massachusetts or parts of them have not been repealed and are in force in this State, to wit –

"An Act for the Limitation of real actions passed July 4, 1786."

"An Act for the Limitation of certain real actions and for the equitable settlement of certain claims arising in real actions passed March 2nd, 1808."

These Statutes have been revised by our Legislature, and after the fifteenth of March 1825 will cease to be law in this State.

"An Act for the relief of poor prisoners who are committed by execution for debt passed November 19, 1787"

"An Act in addition to an act made and passed in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & eighty seven entitled an Act for the relief of poor prisoners who are committed by execution for debt, passed June 22, 1789."

"An Act for the relief of poor prisoners confined in gaol for taxes, passed March 10, 1791."

[Report of Committee on unrevised Laws] "An Act in addition to an Act entitled an Act for the relief of poor prisoners who are committed by execution for debt passed March 1, 1805"

"An Act to relieve Towns from the expenses of supporting persons imprisoned for debt passed Feb. 5, 1820"

"An Act in addition to an Act for the relief of poor prisoners who are committed by execution for debt passed Feb. 21, 1820"

"An Act for the relief of poor debtors Feb. 28, 1811"

"An Act in addition to an Act entitled An Act for the relief of poor debtors passed December 14, 1816–"

These several statutes relate to the relief of poor debtors; which interesting subject was referred by the last Legislature to a committee to sit in the recess, and from which Committee a report has not yet been received, but may soon be expected.
