[Committees on C. Common Pleas.] Order of the House that Messrs. Todd, Dunn, Hobbs, Merrill, Thatcher, Crowell, Belcher, Morse, Milliken, Merrill, Spring, Elder, Wilkins and Wilder be a committee with such as the Senate may join to take into consideration the subject of the Circuit Court of Common Pleas, with leave to report by bill or otherwise, and that the several papers and petitions referred to the last Legislature on this subject, go into the hands of the said Committee, came up for concurrence. [Committee on incompatibility of offices] Order of the House that Messrs. Mace, Hilton and Myrick with such as the Senate may join, be a committee to take into consideration the expediency of passing a law prohibiting any person who may hold an office under the Government of the United States from holding any office under this State, Post officers excepted, with leave to Report by bill or otherwise, came up for concurrence. Emery, Kendall & Weymouth, with such as the Senate may join be a committee to take into consideration the expediency of revising so much of the third section of the "Act to provide for the Education of Youth," as relates to the choice of an Agent for each District.
