[1824] [Bill] Bill respecting the fisheries in the Vinalhaven, was read a 2nd time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

[Convention] At half past 10 Oclock the two Houses met in Convention for the purpose of qualifying Daniel Wood Esq. a Counsellor elect for the present year, who came in, took and subscribed the oaths required by the Constitution to qualify for that purpose. The two Houses then separated.

[Resolve] Resolve in favour of James Campbell Esq. passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

[Report on Petition] Mr. Witham from the Committee on the Petition of John Glover and others, reported that they have leave to bring in a Bill. Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

[Bill] Bill providing for the Government of the State Prison, was read once and committed, and Friday next at 10 Oclock assigned for a 2nd Reading. Ordered that 250 Copies be printed for the use of the Legislature.

[Report] Mr. Anderson from the Committee on so much of the Governors Message as relates to the State Prison, reported a Bill.

[Petition referred] Petition of the Trustees of Foxcroft Academy for aid was read and referred to the Committee on Literature and Literacy Institutions. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.
