Senate Feby 6th. 1824.

[Resolve] Resolve for the distribution of the Law of the United States, and

[Bill] Bill to incorporate the Winthrop Bank, came up with amendments, in which the Senate concurred and they were passed to be engrossed.-

[Message] A message was received from the House informing that they had voted to concur the Senate in their amendment of the engrossed Resolve relating to the location of the Judicial Courts in the County of York.

[Report on Petitions] Mr. Wilkins from the committee, on the petitions of William D. Williamson, and of Joseph Houlton and als. - reported that they have leave to bring in a Resolve : Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence.-

[Committee on the terms & holding Courts &c] On motion of Mr. Small, ordered that Messrs Small and Dunlap with such as the House, may join, be a committee to enquire if any, what alteration is necessary in the law fixing the terms of the Court of Common Please in the County of Oxford, with leave to report by bill or otherwise ; sent down for concurrence, and Messrs Spaulding, Knight and Brown were joined.-

[Remonstrance] Remonstrance of Simeon Pease and als. against the petition of Frederick Howard and als. committed in the House to the committee on Turnpikes &c came up for concurrence, and was read and concurred.-

[Bill] Bill establishing a line between Litchfield and Richmond was read a 2d time and passed to be engrossed : sent down for concurrence.- Bill
