Mr. Ripley from the Committee of conference on the difference of the two Houses upon the order directing the committee on State Lands to inquire what lands, if any, belong to Massachusetts and Maine, adjoining the town of Gilead,” reported that they had met the conferees on the part of the House, who had agreed to report that the House ought to recede from their vote by which they refused to concur in passing the order: Read and accepted; And the order came up concurred. -

[Choice of Senator]
