[Report on Petition]

Mr. Campbell from the Committee, on petition of James Russell & als. reported that the petitioners cause an attested copy of their petition with this order thereon to be published in the Eastern Argus printed in Portland, three weeks successively, the last publication to be thirty days at least before the first wednesday of the first session of the next Legislature: Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence: concurred. -

The Secretary of State came in and laid on the table a Special Message from the Governor, communicating sundry Resolutions of the Legislature of Massachusetts relative to depradations [depredations] on the public undivided lands: Read and sent down. -

On motion of Mr. Dunlap, Ordered that when the Senate adjourn, they adjourn without day: and A Message was sent to the House informing them of the same, and requesting their concurrence. -

and

A Message was received from the House informing that when they adjourn, they will adjourn without day in concurrence with the Senate. -

The Committee on engrossed Bills reported a Bill in addition to an Act to secure rent to lessors of House lots and Mill privileges and for other purposes,”
