On motion of Mr. Stebbins, Ordered that so much of the Governors Message as relates to the support and education of the Deaf and Dumb in this State, be referred to the Committee who have under consideration the message of the 8th. Inst. on the same subject. Sent down for concurrence and came up concurred.

Ordered that so much of the Governor's Message of the 7th Inst. as relates to the State Prison, the communication of the Governor General of Canada and the escape of offenders from justice, be referred to Messrs. Stebbins and Prime with such as the House may join. Sent down for concurrence, came up concurred and Messrs. Williams, McKown and Sweat were joined.

Ordered That so much of the Governor's Message as relates to the testifying to Gen. Lafayette the high estimation in which he is held by the people of this State, be referred to the Committee who have under consideration the subject of extending to him a request to visit this State. Sent down for concurrence.
