Order of the House that Messrs. Leonard, Hathaway & Carpenter be a Committee with such as the Senate may join, to enquire into the expediency of some provision by law for rendering the travel on the ice near Penobscot River, at the several ferry ways thereon safe and convenient, with leave to report by Bill or otherwise, came up for concurrence, was read and concurred and Messrs. Shepard & Kelsey were joined.
