Petition of William Slemmons and others of Westbrook for a law requiring the use of wide rimmed Cart wheels, &c committed in the House to the Committee on New Trials, came up for concurrence, was read and nonconcurred: Referred to Messrs. Prime and Parsons of L. with such as the House may join; Sent down for concurrence, came up concurred, and Messrs. Smith, Kimball and Jones were joined.

Petition of Col. Joseph Hall and others, for a revision of the Militia Law, committed in the House to the Committee on the Militia and Military Affairs; came up for concurrence, were read and concurred.

Petition of the Selectmen of Kingfield that the doings of said town may be made valid; & Petition of Benj: Orr and others agent for Bowdoin College to extend the time for the "Act for the limitation of actions real and personal and writs of error," to go into operation as it regards lands owned by said College; committed in the House to the Committee on New Trials, came up for concurrence, was read and concurred.
