Bill additional to An Act to incorporate the Readfield Religious and Charitable Society; &
Bill to incorporate the Gardiner Iron Manufacturing Company, having been passed to be engrossed and sent down for concurrence, came up concurred.
[Committee on the Artillery]
On motion Ordered that the Committee on Militia and Military Affairs who have under consideration the petition of the Officers of Artillery in the town of Bristol, be instructed to enquire whether one gun to each Company of Artillery would not be sufficient, especially where the guns are six pounders, and to report on the expediency of so arranging the Artillery of the State that there shall be but one gun to each Company: Sent down for concurrence, & came up concurred.

Mr. Parlin from the Committee on petition of James Whitney, reported that he have leave to withdraw his petition: Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence, and came up concurred.
Mr. Churchill from the Committee on petition of the President and Directors of the Cumberland and Oxford Canal Corporation, reported that the petitioners have been to withdraw their petition: Read and amended so as to give the petitioners leave to bring in a Bill. Sent down for concurrence, and came up concurred.
