Bills for the preservation of fish in Piscataqua River - to annex certain inhabitants of plan. No 14 or Mariaville South to the Plantation of Mariaville - were passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolves for the admission of E. H. Lombard to practise law in the C C. Pleas - - for the admission of Giles H Hawes to practise law in the C C Pleas & for other purposes. were finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill in addition to an act providing for the payment of costs in criminal prosecutions - was read a 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill to change the time of holding the Supreme Judicial Court in the County of Cumberland, (reported by the committee on the subject) was read 1st & 2d time and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill to repeal an act to establish Courts of Sessions & for establishing Courts of Sessions, was read a 2nd time, amended at A in 5th. Sec. and referred to Messrs Richardson of Portland, Vance of No 6. & Adams of Portland.

Bill in addition to the several acts for the preservation of fish in Penobscot River & bay & the several streams that empty into the same - was taken up and referred to Messrs Pond of Bucksport, Williams of Augusta and Sturdivant of Cumberland.

Mr Jones of Fairfield had leave of absence after today.
