Monday February 28th 1825

Met according to adjournment.

Ordered that the Pay Roll be made up so as to include the Travel and also the attendance of Isaac Whittemore Junior to the end of the session he being in town sick and unable to attend upon the House Read and passed.

Message from the Governor.

A message was received from the Governor dated Feby 28 1825 [see appendix page 229] informing the two Branches the Legislature of Massachusetts had passed sundry Resolutions respecting depredations on public lands in concurrence with Maine - read and sent up.

The Committee on the Pay Roll of the House, reported a Resolve - read & accepted.

Resolve on the Pay Roll of the House of Representatives - was read twice & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Report on petition of James Russell & al granting an order of notice, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Bills in addition to an act to secure rent to lessors of house lots & Mill privileges and for other purposes - - in addition to the several acts now in force to govern & discipline the Militia of this State - were severally passed to be Enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve
