Bill additional to "An Act to incorporate the Canal Bank, was read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

On motion by Mr. Pond the petition of John Watts and accompanying papers were taken from the files and referred to the Committee on Parishes &c, Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

Mr. Prime from the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals, on the petition of Benjamin Prescott and others, reported an order that the Petitioners cause an attested copy of their petition and order thereon to be published in the Lincoln Intelligencer', a paper printed in Wiscasset, three weeks successively, the last publication to be thirty days at least before the first Wednesday of the first session of the next Legislature, that all persons interested may appear and show cause, if any they have, why the prayer of said petition should not be granted, Read and accepted, Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.
