On motion by Mr. Butman Ordered, that the Committee on State Lands be instructed to inquire into the expediency of so far altering or revising the Law authorizing the sale of State Lands, as to give the Land Agent authority to sell to any Individual or Company any quantity not exceeding _ Thousand acres Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

Order of the House of Representatives, that the Committee concerning Lotteries and Lottery Tickets be instructed to inquire what amount of tickets have been sold within this State during the past year, designating those which have been sold belonging to the Lotteries authorized by this State, and those which belong to foreign Lotteries: and that said Committee have authority to send for persons and papers, came up for concurrence and the Senate refused to concur with the House in the passage thereof

Orders of the House of Representatives, that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to consider the expediency of providing by Law for a further allowance to Jurors for their daily attendance at the several Courts in this State in civil and criminal cases, with leave to report by Bill or otherwise.

Orders That the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of further provisions by Law, for the recovery of damages, by persons who have been injured by the location of public road over their Lands, were read and passed in concurrence,
