Mr. Williams from the Committee on Bills in the second Reading reported Bill to incorporate the Dennysville Tide mill Company with amendments and the same was read and passed to be engrossed as amended, Sent down for concurrence.

On motion by Mr. Williams, the petition of the Trustees of the Cony Female Academy with the accompanying papers were taken from the files and referred to the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred -

Remonstrance of Benjamin Brown and others and remonstrance of Inhabitants of Chesterville, against the erection of a Bridge at Gardiner were severally read and referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

Petition of William Eaton and others, Petition of Zebulon Libby and others, Petition of Caleb Burbank and others, Petition of David Otis and others, and Petition of Samuel Dam and others, for the removal of the County of Courts in the County of York from Alfred and York to Kennebunk were severally read and referred to the Committee who have the petitions from the County of York, on that subject under consideration Sent down for concurrence, Came up concurred.

On motion by Mr. Williams, Ordered that the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions be instructed to inquire into the expediency of amending the Act incorporating the Trustees of the Cony Female Academy
