Mr. Williams from the Committee on State Lands, on the petition of Jedediah Varney and others reported Resolve respecting settlers on the public lands, which was read a first time and having been ordered to a second reading was again read and passed to be engrossed sent down for concurrence

Mr Williams form the Committee on Bills in the second reading reported Resolve in favor of Harvard College as amended and the same was read and passed to be engrossed Sent down for concurrence

Order of the House of Representatives, that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of altering or amending on Act to establish a Court of Common Pleas passed 4th. of February 1822 and Order that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of amending an Act entitled "An Act to exempt from taxation Manufacturing Companies of Cotton, Wool, Iron and Steel for limited times, were severally read and passed in concurrence

Mr. Stebbins from the Committee on the Judiciary, on the petition of Lydia Allen and others, reported that the Petitioners have leave to bring in a Resolve. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.
