Petition of John Marble junr and others that part of Dixfield may be annexed to Mexico was read and referred to the Committee on Incorporation of Towns. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.
Petition of Pelatiah Haley and another Selectmen of Topsham for authority to sell school land in said town was read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent down for concurrence Came up concurred.
Petition of Josiah Little for compensation for loss sustained by indemnifying a Mr. Norris for surveying certain lands and Petition of the Selectmen of Industry for a revision of the Law relating to Jurors, were severally read and referred in concurrence with the House to the Committee on the Judiciary
Petition of John Dole and others for a Lottery to enable them to improve the Navigation of Sheepscot River, was read and referred to the Committee who have the subject of Lotteries under consideration Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.
