Mr Stebbins from the Committee on the Judiciary reported leave to withdraw on the several petitions of Asa A. Pond and others and of Joseph Bryant and others Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence Came up concurred.

Mr. Stebbins from the same Committee on several orders - concurring additional provisions in the Act providing for the collection and assessment of taxes - enlarging the powers of Judges of Probate - amendment of the Act providing for the sale and distribution of Ministerial and School Lands, reported that on each of said propositions further Legislation is inexpedient, Read and accepted, Sent down for concurrence. Bill to incorporate the Saco Manufactures Canal, as amended, Bill to set off Nahum Corson with his estate from Dearborn and annex the same to the town of Waterville and Bill authorizing a Lottery for improving the Navigation of the Kennebec River, as amended, were severally read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence
