Mr Williams from the Committee, reported "Bill concurring Lotteries and Lottery tickets as taken into a new draft which was read and committed to Messrs Williams, Churchill and Green

Bill additional respecting the Herring Fishery was taken up and committed to Messrs Pond, Kimball and Williams

Mr. Green from the Committee on Incorporation of Towns, on the petition of Isaiah Jenkins and others reported an order" that the Petitioners cause an attested copy of their petition and this order thereon to be served on the Town Clerks of Litchfield and Wales, sixty days before the first session of the next Legislature, that all persons interested may then appear and show cause, if any they have why the prayer of said petition should not be granted - Read and accepted, Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred,

Orders of the House of Representatives, that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire if any alterations are necessary, as respects costs in criminal prosecutions with leave to report by bill or otherwise
