Mr. Pond from the Committee to whom was referred the Report of the Committee on the Judiciary of February 11th granting leave to withdraw on sundry petitions, reported that the Committee had considered the subject referred to them and recommend that the Report of the Committee on the Judiciary be accepted, and the same was accepted accordingly. Sent down for concurrence Came up concurred.

On motion by Mr. Williams the further balloting for filling the vacancy in the office of Major General of the fourth Division of the Militia of this State was postponed to the next Senate, and a Message was sent to the House informing them thereof

Mr. Stebbins, from the Committee reported the Resolve in favour of Luke Lambard referred from the last session of the Legislature, without amendment which was read a first time and tomorrow, at 10 oclock assigned for a second reading

Bill to enable the owners of meeting houses to manage the same was read a first time, and having been ordered to a second reading, was again read and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of the North Parish meeting house in Thomaston, Bill to incorporate the new meeting House Proprietors in Bangor, and Bill to incorporate the Kennebunkport Distillery were severally taken up and the further consideration thereof postponed indefinitely.
