The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment

On motion by Mr. Prime the petition of Joseph M. Baker and others with the accompanying papers was taken from the files and referred to the next Legislature. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

Bill altering the terms of the Court of Common Pleas in the County of Lincoln came back from the House amended and the Senate adhere to their former vote passing the Bill to be engrossed Sent down,

On motion by Mr. Scamman the Senate reconsidered their vote whereby they passed to be engrossed "Bill to incorporate the Mousam Canal Company" and committed the same to Messrs Scamman, Prime and Elden who reported the same in a new draft which was adopted and ordered to lie on the table

Bill incorporating the Portland Athenaeum was read a first time and having been ordered to a second reading was again read and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence,

Bill additional to "An Act regulating Judicial process came up from the House nonconcurred in the amendments proposed by the Senate, and the Senate adhere to their former vote passing this Bill to be engrossed as by them amended, Sent down,
