Mr. Churchill Chairman of the Committee on that part of the Governor's message relating to internal improvements had leave to lay upon the table " Resolve relating to the Kennebec River, which was read a first time, 3 oclock this afternoon assigned for a second reading, and in the mean time was committed to Messrs Southwick and Wilson

Bill to incorporate the Trustees of the Bath Public Library was read a first time tomorrow, 10 oclock assigned for a second reading and in the mean time was committed to Messrs Dunlap, Green & Parsons.

Bill to establish the times of holding the Court of Sessions in the County of Penobscot, came back from the House amended and the Senate non concur the House in their amendment, further amend the Bill and pass the same to be engrossed as amended Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

On motion by Mr. Wilson the Senate reconsidered their vote whereby they passed to be engrossed the Bill establishing the Portland Athenaeum amended the same by adding a new section and the Bill was then passed to be engrossed as amended Sent down for concurrence,

Mr. Churchill from the Committee reported "Resolve authorizing a loan of money" and the same was read a second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the House.
