Bill additional to the several Acts now in force to organize, govern and discipline the Militia came back from the House refused a concurrence in the reference and adhered to their former vote passing this Bill to be engrossed. Sent down,

Bill to prevent intemperance at elections came from the House was read a first time, tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a second reading and in the mean time was committed to Messrs Wilson, Howard and Elden

Afternoon, The Engrossed Bill authorizing a Lottery for improving the navigation of Kennebec River was taken up and committed to Messrs Stebbins, Dunlap and Holland with instructions to report the same with amendments, if expedient, so as to embrace the various subjects of Lottery now before the Legislature.

Bill establishing the County of Waldo referred in the House to the next Legislature came up for concurrence and the Senate concurred,
