Met according to adjournment.

The committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed, Bill – to apportion and assess on this State a tax of forty nine thousand nine hundred ninety one dollars & ninety seven Cents which was passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

The same committee reported as duly engrossed, Resolve respecting Clerk hire in the Office of the Secretary of State & for other purposes, which was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

The same committee reported as duly engrossed Bill – An additional act to promote the sale & settlement of public lands - which was passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill – granting a Lottery for the benefit of Primary Schools, came from the Senate referred to the next Legislature for concurrence and the House so far reconsidered their former votes as to concur with the Senate.

Bill – additional to the several acts now in force respecting Highways, came from the Senate further amended & passed to be engrossed as thus amended for concurrence – and the House refused to reconsider their vote of 27th ult.

The Conferees on the part of the House on the Bill imposing a duty on sales of Lottery Tickets, reported that the House adhere to their own votes on this Bill - & the report was accepted.

Resolve – additional to a Resolve apportioning the Representatives on the several Counties, towns, plantations & classes on the first appointment was taken up and the House
