The House agreeably to assignment took up the consideration of the motion made by Mr Quinnam for a reconsideration of the vote whereby the House refused to adopt the amendment offered by him yesterday to the Bill "establishing the County of Waldo" and the motion prevailed - the House then refused to pass the Bill to be engrossed.

Mr Johnson of Belfast moved a reconsideration of the last vote, and the House assigned tomorrow at 10 oclock to consider the motion.

The Committee on Public Lands reported the two Resolves which follow, and the House accepted the report in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve in favor of James Irish, was read twice & passed to be engrossed with amendments. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve for the appointment of an Auditor of the Accounts of the Land Agent - was read twice & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill - to incorporate the Trustees of the Bath Public Library was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

The House assigned tomorrow at 10 oclock to take up the consideration of a report of the committee on contested elections.
