78. Resolve in favor of Oliver Perkins, was read a second time, amended & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve for correcting the valuation of Steuben, reported by the committee on the petition of the Selectmen of Steuben, was read once and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a second reading.

Resolve in favor of Houlton Plantation, reported by the committee on the petition of Joseph Houlton & als, was read once and tomorrow at 10 o'clock was assigned for a second reading.

Bill - to change the name of North Hill, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill - to set off lot numbered twenty one from Baldwin to Sebago, was read a 3rd time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill to incorporate the town of Wellington -was taken up and referred to Messrs White of Monmouth, Butler of Farmington & Cummings of Paris.

The committee on the petition of Wilson Page, reported leave to withdraw - and the report was accepted.

Ordered that the joint standing committee on Banks and Banking be instructed to consider and report what measures it may be expedient to take in relation to any of the Banks referred to in the report of the Commissioners appointed to examine into the doings of the several Banks wherein they shall deem Legislative interference necessary. read & passed, Sent up for concurrence.

Report on the petition of Thomas Kendall & als, granting an order of notice, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.
