100 The Resolve establishing the seat of Government, was on motion referred to Messrs White of Monmouth, Whitney of Lincolnville & Sawyer of Baldwin.

Petition of Nathaniel Hill & als respecting the location of the Courts in the County of York, came back from the Senate referred to Messrs Washburn & Churchill with such as the House may join - The House concurred and Messrs Bartlet of Garland Thoms of Mount Desert & Bryant of Fairfield were joined.

Report on the Remonstrance of Ebenezer Lane & others, referring the same to the next Legislature, came from the Senate, accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Ordered that Messrs Vance of Baring, Knowles of Hampden & Ruggles of Columbia be a committee to consider the expediency of constituting Houlton plantation with the other plantations adjoining in the County of Washington into a Representative District with authority to elect a Representative and to report by Resolve &c &r. - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.
