Met according to adjournment.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the committee on State Lands to ascertain the circumstances relating to the sale of a half Township of Land by the Land Agent to Joshua Carpenter &c - and the House concurred.

Bill - concerning Bible Societies, Religious Tract Societies and Societies for improvement in sacred Music, was read once & ordered to lie on the table

Report on the Governors Special Message of Janry 24th 1827 was read and accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Report on the abstract of the Annual Return of the Militia of the State of Maine for the year 1826 that the same appears to be correct & recommending that said return be deposited in the office of the Secretary of State, was accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Report of the committee of Banks & Banking giving a detailed account of the concerns of the Vassalboro Bank since the report of the Commissioners, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate & 300 copies ordered to be printed for the use of the members

Bill - concerning Bibles, Religious Tract Societies and Societies for improvement in sacred Music, was taken up, read a second time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading

Report on the petition of Nathaniel Hill & others, that it is inexpedient to take any further order upon the subject of the petition, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.
