[Pet. of George Reid & als] Petition of George Reid and others referred in the House to Messrs Smith, Blaney and Rowell to be joined came up for concurrence and the Senate concurred and joined Messrs Parsons and Francis

[Bill add. to several Acts establishing the salaries of public Officers] Bill additional to the several Acts establishing the salaries of public Officers came passage refused and the Senate adhere to their former vote passing this Bill to be engrossed . Sent down

[Bill add. to an Act to regulate the inspection of Beef & Pork] Bill additional to An Act to regulate the inspection of Beef and Pork intended for exportation came up in a new draft and the Senate adhere to their former vote refusing the original Bill a passage sent down.

[Report. Bill respecting attachments of Real Estate] Mr. Williams from the Committee reported Bill respecting attachments of Real Estate and the same was read a second time and passage refused sent down

[Resolve fixing the place of meeting of the next Legislature] Resolve fixing the place of meeting of the next Legislature came up passed to be engrossed for concurrence, and on motion by Mr. Southwick to strike out “Portland”-“Cumberland” and in lieu thereof insert “Hallowell”-“Kennebec”, ordered to be taken by yeas and nays the question was decided in the affirmative as follows
