[Pet. Nathaniel Hill & al.] Petition of Nathaniel Hill and others that the Courts and public offices in the County of York may be established at one place came from the House referred to the Committee on the Judiciary and the Senate nonconcur with the House in their reference and referred the same to Messrs Washburn & Churchill with such as the House may join. Sent down for concurrence – Concurred and Messrs. Bartlett, Thoms & Bryant were joined.

[Order to notify Governor of the election of Wm Waterman Maj. Genl] On motion by Mr. Balkam Ordered that the Secretary of State notify the Governor, that the two Houses of the Legislature, on the twenty sixth day of January current, elected William Waterman of Buxton, Major General of the first Division of the Militia of this State. Sent down for concurrence Concurred

[Rep on petition of Pro Som. Bridge] Mr. Sweat from the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals reported leave for a Bill on the petition of the Proprietors of Somerset Bridge. Read and accepted, Sent down for concurrence Concurred

[Pet. of Jos. Treat & al] Petition of Joseph Treat and others praying for aid to repair the road from Sunkhaze to Matanawcook was read and in concurrence referred to the Committee on that part of the Governors message relating to the Penobscot and its tributaries

[Pet. Asa Cole & al] On motion by Mr. Hathaway the petition of Asa Cole & others was taken from the files and referred to the Committee on Incorporation of towns. Sent down for concurrence, Concurred

[Bill -inc. Pro. old T. bridge] Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of old town Bridge,

[" addl. ass. & col. of taxes] " additional to an act concerning the assessment & collection of taxes &

[" inc. Pen. Steam Nav Company] " to incorporate the Penobscot Steam Boat Navigation Company, were severally read once & Monday 11 oClock assigned for a second reading.
