[Resolve in favor of D. Rose] Mr. Phelps, from the Joint standing Committee on State Lands, to whom was referred the Report of the Land Agent, reported a Resolve entitled "Resolve in favor of Daniel Rose" which was read the first time and this day at eleven o'clock A.M. was assigned for the second reading. [Pet. of N. Treat & als] The same Gentleman, from the same Committee, on the Petition of Nathaniel Treat & others, reported that the said Petition be referred to the next Legislature. The report was read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred. [Pet. of Hugh M. Boynton] A Report from the Joint standing Committee on applications from sick and wounded Soldiers, on the Petition of Hugh M. Boynton, giving the Petitioner leave to withdraw his Petition, came from the House accepted for concurrence. The Report was read and accepted, in concurrence. [Resolve add: Commissioners to settle with Land Agents] The Resolve entitled "An additional Resolve appointing Commissioners to settle with certain Land agents" came up, having passed the House to be Engrossed, as amended, for concurrence. The Senate nonconcurred the House in their proposition and adhered to their former refusing to the said Resolve a passage. Sent down for concurrence. [Bill. Jurisdiction of Courts of Probate] The Bill entitled "An act further to regulate the proceedings and Jurisdiction of the Courts of Probate" came up, having passed the House to be Engrossed, as taken into a New Draft entitled "An act further to regulate the Jurisdiction and proceedings of the Courts of Probate", for concurrence.
