Report of the Committee to whom was referred an order of February 15th instructing them to inquire of the Trustees or agents of Colleges &c who may apply for aid a statement of the amount of appropriations &c asking to be discharged from the further consideration thereof was read & accepted in concurrence

Report of the Committee on Literary Institutions to whom was referred an order of January 26th respecting the Education of youth without the limits of incorporated towns & organized plantations that legislation on the subject is not Expedient was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate

The Committee on Engrossed Bills report as duly Engrossed Resolve Establishing a Valuation for the State of Maine concerning a more perfect organization of the Militia providing compensation for the Chaplains of the Legislature which were severally finally passed sent up for concurrence

The same Committee also report as duly Engrossed Bill to secure to owners their property in Masts Logs Spars & other timber which was passed to be Enacted - sent up for concurrence

Bill to regulate Banks & Banking came from the Senate they having reconsidered their former votes & ordered the Bill to be re-Engrossed as further amended on sheet annexed marked R - and the House reconsider their former votes passing the Bill to be Enacted & to be engrossed adopt the amendments proposed by the Senate & order the Bill to be reengrossed as thus amended in concurrence
