On motion of Mr. Crate of Nobleboro' Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of repealing or amending an act entitled An act regulating the practice of Physic & Surgery - sent up for concurrence

On motion of Mr. Smith of Portland Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of repealing or modifying the 4th Section of An act additional to the several acts respecting workhouses & houses of correction - sent up for concurrence

On motion of Mr. Williams of Augusta Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of providing by law for registering all attachments of real estate in the office of the Register of Deeds for the County where said land is situated with leave to report by Bill or otherwise - sent for concurrence.

Ordered that the Committee on the militia be instructed to inquire into the expediency of so amending the militia law that every noncommissioned officer & private of the age of thirtyfive years be conditionally exempt from military duty - sent up for concurrence

The order directing the Land Agent to ascertain from the Land agent of Massachusetts the quantity of land sold by that State &c - came from the Senate taken into a new draft for concurrence - & the House recede from their former votes so far as to adopt this new draft in concurrence with the Senate

Ordered that the House hold but one session [?] day commencing at nine o'clock in the morning until otherwise ordered
