Resolve authorizing the agent of the Penobscot Tribe of Indians to sell to Ira Fish so much timber from either of the townships belonging to said tribe at the mouth of Matawamkeag river as said Fish may need to build a bridge over said river on the military. road now building by the United States was read 1st & 2d. time & passed to be engrossed & then referred to Parks of Banger Deane of Ellsworth & Herrick of Lewiston

On motion of Mr. Clifford of Newfield. Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire what alterations of any are necessary in the law establishing the Courts of Sessions - sent up for concurrence

On motion of Mr. Folsom of Eastport Ordered that the blank in the order relative to the State printing be filled by inserting the word "Seventeenth" before the words day of January

Ordered that a message be sent to the Senate proposing a Convention of both Branches in the Representatives Chamber this day at 11 o'clock for the purpose of administering the necessary oaths of office to Abijah Smith & Ralph C. Johnson Councilors elect - & the Senate by message signified their concurrence

Accordingly the two Branches met in Convention Abijah Smith & Ralph C Johnson took & subscribed the oaths necessary to qualify them to enter upon the discharge of the duties of their office
