Petition - of Rev. Joseph Bailey and 253 others of Whitefield for erection of Locks for the passage of fish on Sheepscot River. - of William M. Boyd and 56 others on the same subject. - of William Averill and 140 others being more than two thirds of the voters in Alna - on the same subject were severally read and referred to the Committee on Interior Fisheries - sent up for concurrence.

Petition - of the town of Georgetown for a separate Representation - was read and referred to the Committee on Apportionment of Representatives &c. - sent up for concurrence.

Bill - authorizing the Inhabitants of the North District in the County of Washington to choose a Register of Deeds was read a first and second time and tomorrow at 11. o'clock assigned for a third reading of the same.

Resolve - for opening, clearing and repairing a Road from the South line of township numbered Two in the Old Indian Purchase on the East side of Penobscot River to Matanawcook Stream - was read a first time and Tuesday next at 11. o'clock assigned for a second reading of the same.

Petition - of Seth Paine to be admitted to practice as an Attorney at Law was read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary - in concurrence with the Senate.
