Bill - to regulate Banks and Banking came again from the Senate - they adhering to their vote passing the Bill to be engrossed as amended on sheet annexed marked D - and proposing a conference and appointing as conferees on their part Messrs. Kingsbury, Ingalls and Dole - and the House adhere to their vote of March 4th - accept the proposed conference and appoint as Conferees on their part, Messrs. Clifford of Newfield, Deane of Ellsworth and Knowlton of Montville.

Remonstrance of R.H. Gardiner and others against the Petition of Seth Paine Jr. and others for leave to construct a Boom across Kennebec River - was read and referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges, and canals in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve - in favor of Bartholomew B. Bois was read a second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate - and the question upon so passing the same was taken by yeas and nays as follows - Yeas 73. Nays 38. (for yeas & nays see page 468)

Mr. McIntire of York was excused from serving on the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals - and Mr. Lord of Lebanon was appointed in his stead.
