[Report on the pet. of Ch. O. Emerson.] Mr. Megquier, from the Joint standing committee on the Judiciary, reported leave to withdraw on the petition of Charles O. Emerson, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. concurred.

[Bill incorporating Sidney Mutual Fire Ins. Company.] An Act incorporating the Sidney Mutual Fire Insurance Company, reported by the Committee on Banks and Banking, was read a first and second time, and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

[Petitions refered.] The petition of Inhabitants of Denmark " of Robert Andrews and others, " of James Sanborn and others " of Inhabitants of Lovell, and " of Jonathan Houghton and others, for a new county to be composed of parts of Cumberland and Oxford counties, were severally read and refered to the Joint standing committee on the Incorporation of Towns in concurrence.
