[Petition refered.] The petition of Samuel Hale and others, to be incorporated into a Manufacturing company, was read and refered to the Joint standing committee on Manufactures, in concurrence.

[Report on the pet. of the Inhbts. of Monhegan Island.] Mr. Hall from the Joint standing committee on Interior fisheries, reported leave to withdraw on the petition of sundry Inhabitants of Monhegan Island, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

[Petitions refered.] The petition of Benjamin Knight, for one half of a penalty recovered by the State in certain prosecutions for the sale of foreign tickets, was read and refered to the Joint select committee who have under consideration an order of January 29th. relative to the sale of Lottery tickets in this State in concurrence.

The petition of Joseph Leland and others, for a Bank at Saco, was read and refered to the Joint standing committee on Banks and Banking, in concurrence.

The petition of Moses Appleton and others, for a Bank at Waterville, was read and refered to the same committee, in concurrence.
