In Senate, Tuesday, March 15, 1831.

[Bills assigned for a second reading.] "An Act to incorporate the Proprietors of Livermore Falls Bridge" "An additional Act for the preservation of fish in Penobscot Bay and River, and the streams emptying into the same" "An Act to set off James Meader from Westbrook to Falmouth." and "An Act to prevent the destruction of pickerel in Wilson, Cochnewagen, South and Cobeseconte great ponds in Monmouth and Winthrop" were severally read once, and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

[Bills enacted.] The committee on Engrossed Bills, reported as truly copied from the originals, the following Bills, To wit; "An Act to regulate the Alewive fishery in Franklin." "An additional Act relating to appeals " and "An Act to incorporate the Proprietors of the Augusta Hotel." and the same were severally passed to be enacted.

[Resolve in favor of Benjamin Knight] Resolve in favour of Benjamin Knight was read a first and second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

[Resolve in favor of Canada road.] Resolve in favour of the Canada road, was read a first and second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence.
