[Report of Conferees relating to certain Bridges] Mr. Dole, from the Conferees on the part of the Senate, in relation to the Act for the preservation of certain bridges, made a report which was accepted, and thereupon the Senate recede from their former votes, and refer said Bill to the next Legislature, and order that the petitioners cause the same to be printed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

[Report on an order relating to the education of youth &c. &c. &c.] The same Gentleman from the Committee on Literary Institutions, made reports on the following orders, to wit: "An order relating to the education of Youth in unincorporated places," and an "Order directing said Committee to enquire into the expediency of introducing a system of education into the Madawaska settlement" that Legislation on said subjects is inexpedient, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. concurred.

[Report on an order respecting Colleges.] The same Gentleman, from the same Committee made a report, on an order instructing said Committee to require the trustees and agents of the several Colleges &c. who may apply for aid, a statement of the pecuniary situation of said Institutions, &c. asking to be discharged from the further consideration of said order, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. concurred.

[Report on an order relating to the public debt.] Mr. Fuller, from the Joint select committee to whom was refered an order relating to the public debt, made a report which was read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

[Resolve for the payment of certain portions of public debt.] "Resolve for the payment of certain portions of the public debt" was read a first and second time, and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.
