Afternoon 1/2 past two o'clock.

[Report on the Govrs Message of March 25, relating to the N.E. Boundary.] The Joint select committee to whom was refered the Governor's Message of March 25, with accompanying documents, in relation to the North Eastern Boundary, made a report, which was read and accepted, in concurrence with the House.

"Resolve in relation to the report on the Governor's Message of March 25, 1831" was read a first and second time, and passed to be engrossed, in concurrence.

[Report on the pet. of Jas. Deering.] Mr. Hinds, from the Committee on claims reported reference to the next Legislature on the petition of James Deering, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

[Resolve providing for payment of extra expenses of certain Members of Valuation Committee.] Resolve providing for payment of extra expenses of certain Members of the Valuation Committee, reported by the Joint Select Committee to whom the subject was refered, was read a first and second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

[Petition refered.] The petition of Asa Clapp and others, for the incorporation of a Bank at Portland, was read and refered to the Joint Standing Committee on Banks and Banking. Sent down for concurrence.

Ordered, that when the Senate adjourn, It adjourn to meet this evening at seven o'clock.
