[Resolve - settlement of Atty. Genls. acct] Resolve providing for the settlement of the Adjutant and Quarter Master General Accounts came up passage refused for concurrence and the Senate concurred.

[Resolve - on Pay Roll of Senate] Resolve on the Pay Roll of the Senate was read once, 5 o clock this afternoon assigned for a second reading and committed to Messrs. Megquier, Richardson & Emery.

[Resolve on Pay Roll of the Senate] Mr. Megquier from the Committee Pay Roll of the Senate and accompanying Resolve and the same was read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

[Order - adjourn to 1/2 past 8 o clock tomorrow morning] On motion of Mr. Williams, Ordered that when the Senate adjourn they adjourn to meet again tomorrow morning at 1/2 past 8 o clock and that they meet again this evening at 7 o clock.

[Resolve on Pay Roll of H.R.] Resolve on the Pay Roll of the House of Representatives was read once, ordered to a second reading - Mr . Washburn moved to amend the Resolve by striking out in the Resolve the words " ninety three" and inserting "thirty seven", thereby reducing the per diem pay of the Assistant Clerk of the House of Representatives to two Dollars adopting this amendment the yeas and nays were ordered and were as follows, Yeas
