Petitions of the Proprietors of the Damariscotta Canal for a repeal of the 9th Sec. of their act of incorporation - - of Benjamin Weston & al for authority to build a bridge across Kennebec River from Anson to Madison were severally read & referred to the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Samuel Wood & al Directors of Winthrop Bank for authority to close the concerns of said Bank & to be exempted from the payment of the Bank tax, was read & referred to the committee on Banks & Banking &c. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Isaac Farrar & als for a law to regulate the driving of logs down the Kennebec, was read & referred to the committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.
