Met according to adjournment.

Petition of David Oakes & al that certain land may be granted to Revd Christopher Laughton, came from the Senate referred to the committee on State Lands for concurrence and the House concurred.

Report on the petition of Ira Wadleigh granting leave to withdraw, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Bill - to incorporate the Proprietors of Commercial Hall, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

The committee to whom was referred the Bond of Mark Harris Esquire Treasurer of the State reported that they are of opinion that the said Bond is sufficient and ought to be accepted by the Legislature - and the report was accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve in favor of Joshua Carpenter, came from the Senate referred to the committee on that part of the Governors Message relating to internal improvements for concurrence - and the House concurred.

On motion of Mr Vance of Baring, Ordered that Messrs Vance of Baring, Dean of Ellsworth & Sumner of Lubec be a committee with such as the Senate may join to enquire if any, and what provisions are necessary and expedient to secure to owners their property in logs, masts, spars or other timber in the Schoodic & St Croix Rivers & report &c &c. read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.
