from the town of Litchfield and and annexing them to the town of Wales - which was passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.
Resolve for providing Public Buildings for the use of the State was called up and Mr Bourne of Kennebunk moved that the same be indefinitely postponed - and that question was decided by yeas and nays in the negative as follows Yeas 56. Nays 90 [See appendix page 270.] and then the Resolve was passed to a second reading and tomorrow at ten oclock assigned to give it a second reading.
And the House adjourned.
